The Strength to Endure: Finding Light in Dark Times

The Strength to Endure: Finding Light in Dark Times

In the harshest of economic challenges, it is often that the devil seizes the moment to plant seeds of deep depression and suicidal thoughts in the hearts of many. Yet, quitters don’t win, and winners don’t quit. No matter how tight the situation becomes, there is always light at the end of the tunnel, a silver lining behind every dark cloud.

In times like these, some may try to tempt the innocent and vulnerable into becoming victims of circumstances. When faced with aggression, such as a slap on the right cheek, the wise action is to simply walk away with gratitude. Retaliation may lead to unintended consequences, and a moment of reaction could lead to lifelong regret. In walking away, the wise preserve their peace and survival.

Let this be a call to all Nigerians: we must endure. We must stand strong against the pressures of these trying times and not succumb to the temptation of darkness. Let hope and perseverance be our shield, for it is through our resilience that we will emerge victorious, finding peace and strength in the face of adversity.
